Environmentally friendly architecture
L’ecocompatibilità è inoltre strettamente legata al concetto di sviluppo sostenibile introdotto nel 1987 dal Rapporto Brundtland that "development is sustainable if it meets the needs of present generations without compromising those of future generations." In this project environmentally friendly, as well as meet the complex needs of the user, has an obligation to promote sustainable development in relation to the three main areas of interest: economic, environmental, social. In particular, the eco-design of the built environment is characterized by a relationship with the environment, understood as man-made physical environment and to safeguard the welfare conditions with a reduced consumption of natural resources and low levels of pollution. The goal today is to disseminate the approach eco-friendly and integrate it into the design process ordinary, in the different design stages and in various steps of the building process.
